Why not join the popular Voxbox Beginners' Course?
6 weekly session of two hours
This course has run fully booked every six weeks since 2002
There are a lot of fun singing courses out there... the Voxbox Beginners' Course is expertly designed to not only give you a lot of fun singing, but to show you how your voice works and train you in the basics of correct singing.
The course is designed and run by two of London's leading experts in singing voice development, Voxbox Directors Lucy Phillips and Leon Berrange.
Lucy says "If you are just getting into singing, or returning after a break, this is a great place to start. Not only enjoy lots of singing in group, harmony and solo, but also start right away understanding your voice, seeing vocal problems as issues with a clear resolution, and developing technique."
Sessions consist of class (group) singing, instruction in vocal basics, vocal development exercises, harmony singing, and on the last session, individual singing. Individual singing is optional, but we can boast a 100% success rate - no one has ever bottled out!
Leon says "New singers soon realise that it is no mystery... everything about the voice can be explained, and whatever level a singer is at, they are 'all in the same boat,' working in the same way to gain tone quality, power, ease, range, accuracy and expression."
Most people experience a vast improvement in six weeks but if you would like to continue we offer a Part B Beginners course and a further wide range of course modules and private lessons with startups every 6 weeks.
